"Thank you Bear", by Greg Foley

Happy Thanksgiving!

El cuarto Jueves de Noviembre, se celebra en EE.UU. el día de acción de gracias, o "Thanksgiving", por lo que este mes podemos dedicarlo a la lectura de libros sobre la amistad, la familia y acción de gracias.

Empezamos con "Thank you Bear", by Greg Foley, título que podeis leer de manera gratuita a través de We give books.

Early one morning, a little bear found a little box. "Why, it's the greatest thing ever! Mouse will love this." Bear's friends aren't so sure of his newfound treasure, however... Part mystery, part fable, this deceptively simple story of true friendship is perfect for the very youngest reader. It is sure to tug at your heart.

Recordar que el éxito es hacer la misma pregunta cambiando el vocabulario, la repetición hará que adquieran la capacidad de preguntar / afirmar / negar, y el cambiar la palabra clave en cada imagen les permitirá saber entender aquello que estás preguntando / afirmando / negando, así como aprender vocabulario nuevo:

No importa si os contestan en español, sí es así, premiarles porque han entendido lo que has dicho y repetir su respuesta en inglés. Por ejemplo.

- What animal is this?

- Un zorro.

- Yes, you are right, it's a fox. FOX. (pointing to the picture)

- What is your favourite animal?

- El gato.

- Really? I love cats!
